In the government section the first three buildings are the varying levels of Bureaucracy, from City-State to Empire. All of these buildings should be something you’ll either need to build or want to build, and not something you ignore and then mass queue up every 75 years when you realize you have a lot of money. One of my goals with this mod was to make “tall” play and peacetime in general more fun and viable, so more buildings were essential. Despite the fact that it is a lot of work I still do think that playtesting can begin in mid-late September. All new technologies, all new ideas, all new events, all new decisions, everything. Because this is a total overhaul mod, pretty much every aspect of gameplay will be different. Stuff like ruler names, trade goods, some slight balancing, technology, and more. In the past two and a half weeks I’ve gotten a lot done in the way of getting the “skeleton” of the mod ready to add in all the details. If you don’t know about it, there’s a more detailed explanation in the first post, but basically a scaled up, highly detailed map of the Mesoamerican Region (the area around Mexico) replaces the normal map and plenty of gameplay changes come with it.
